Happy Birthday Grandma

Today we went to celebrate Grandma Sandberg's birthday. It was a nice night away with family. Aubrey enjoyed seeing her cousins. But, mostly she loved sharing her Daddy's ice cream! He would take a bite, then share with her. She didn't want to leave his side until it was all gone!


Aubrey is changing so much these days. She is walking everywhere now. If she falls, she gets right back up to walk some more. She has also learned to clap....especially when I say "Yay!!!." She is so proud of herself every time and shows it with her two-toothed smile. We are so proud, too! (originally posted on Babysites)

Weekend visitors

This past weekend, my brother and his family came in town for a visit. The primary reason was Aaron had lasik eye surgery successfully performed. It was great to be able to spend time with them. I think the girls had the best time of all. Aubrey and Lainey have been able to spend hours together here and there in the past, but never a couple of days straight. They were so good together. I can't necessarily say they played together...but rather they played with toys right next to each other. So closely that a couple of times Aubrey thought she needed to sit on Lainey's lap to get closer. :)

Lainey is crawling and Aubrey is walking but they were able to keep up with each other. They were so cute! We were able to take the girls to the playground and also give them their first bath together. We're hoping sometime this summer that we can get them together a little more with maybe a zoo visit?

Spring is here

I've just recently started taking Aubrey to the park. She loves to ride in the wagon there. Once we get there, she can't get enough of the slide and swings. She's always smiling!
