Time to decorate

Now that Thanksgiving has passed, it is time to decorate for Christmas! Jeff put up the lights outdoors and we put the tree up together as a family. Well, almost. Aubrey helped to sort the tree branches and hang them. Then she took a break until it was time to hang the ornaments. Tyler wanted to help, but he was better off contained in the pack in the play. After fighting a few dead bulbs and blowing a couple of fuses, we successful finished the tree. I forgot to take an "after" picture but will do so and post later. It looks beautiful! Bring on Christmas!

Giving thanks

Thanksgiving is here! Our bellies are full, we were able to spend some quality time with family and I have so much to be thankful for!

First and foremost, I am thankful for our health. We have been blessed with two healthy babies that grow and learn more and more each and every day. Aubrey is so smart and amazes us with what she new things she has to say daily. Tyler is such a happy baby that is starting to cruise and "free fall." He'll be walking soon!

Secondly, I am thankful for Jeff's job security in this poor economy. He is able to go to a good job every day that allows me to stay home with our kids. Even though there are days when I want to pull my hair out, I would change a thing. I love to be here teach them here and watching them develop.

Lastly, I am thankful for all of our loving family and friends. Having all of you as a part of our lives means the world to us. Whether we see you once a week, month, year or just talk by phone, you are so important to us. So, thank you!!

I signed Aubrey up for a gymnastic class. Although it's not structured as I expected, Aubrey is having lots of fun and burning energy, too. She spends the 45 minutes each Wednesday morning running around, walking the balance beam, doing somersaults, swings on the rings and bar, climbing in and out of tubes, and jumping on the bouncy pit. It's enough activity to wear me out. Plus, she is supercute in her little leotard! :)

Bath fun

The kids have just started taking a bath at the same time. They have so much fun. Tyler is learning to splash... Aubrey is learning to share her bath toys. I thought I'd take some pictures to capture some of the moments. They make me smile. :)

DWTS fan

This video was taken during Dancing With the Stars. Tyler only acted this way during this one song. First he starts out clapping (which he just learned to do), then he starts bouncing to the music. As soon as the song ends, he crawls away. He either has a future in ballroom dancing or he wants Derek and Johanna to win.
