This past weekend was Memorial Day weekend and it was a busy one. Jeff went to Minneapolis for volleyball Nationals (won the silver division in AA) while I went back to Orion with the kids. We were just as busy there spending time with all of the family and seeing some sights as well. The first night all of the family came over and we met baby Kellen, born to Aaron and Lissy, for the first time. He was born April 15 and is a cutie! Tyler looks so big next to him! He and Tyler will become good friends just like their big sisters!

On Saturday, we were able to visit Great Grandma Harkey so she could meet Tyler. Aunt Gail was there, too, so she also got to see him again! Too bad Grandpa was still in the hospital. Hopefully he'll be able to see him next time we are back visiting.

Saturday, we also went to Niabi Zoo with Grandma and Grandpa as well as Aaron and Denise's families. It was so fun!

Sunday, we went to the annual family picnic at Ray and Mary's house in East Moline. There were a lot of cousins there that got to meet Tyler for the first time. Afterwards we stopped at Deanna's house where Aubrey got to play with Jared, sit on their quad runner and watch the baby calves get bottle fed. We love the country!
While there, we also ate Happy Joe's and Frank's Pizza. Yummy!! Aubrey was able to see a lot of animals as Grandma and Grandpa got a new puppy, Tucker. She just loves animals!
Throughout the entire trip, Tyler was a wonderful baby, too. He was smiling all of the time and really likes to "talk," too. He's going to have to get a little louder though if we are ever going to hear him over Aubrey. We had a great trip and look forward to many more fun times with our family!
