It's hard to believe six weeks has already passed since Tyler was born. In one regard, time flies by...in another, it seems as if he has been with us for months. We are adjusting well to life at home with the little ones.

Aubrey has blossomed into a caring, loving, older sister. Her vocabulary has expanded immensely. She now repeats everything that we say to her and also responds to the TV shows she loves...Dora and Diego. We are currently working to teach her names (of family members), colors, more animals and more body parts. Everyone should know where their elbows and knees are located, right? My favorite part of her growth is she now says "I love you" without being prompted first. It is so sweet. Jeff and I get lots of kisses, too. She even recently told her pacifier she loved it... "I love you, paci." It was priceless.
Tyler is also changing daily. Our "little" baby is filling out quite a bit. He is also becoming more and more alert. He follows you with his eyes and really likes to just look at your face...studying your every move. He is a wonderful baby that loves to sleep...during the day. :s We just moved him to his room and his crib last night and are hoping this will mean more sleep for us is just around the corner. For some reason, he really likes to be awake between 2 and 5am. Ugh. We know this will pass but are both longing for our long stretches of sleep again!

Next weekend we are taking the kids to get their pictures taken and will post them as soon as we can. We are also hoping to head back to Orion over Easter weekend. That will be Tyler's first time back and he'll get to meet Deanna and Denise's families. Until then, more growing and less sleeping.... (originally posted on Babysites)
