Aubrey is learning lots of new tricks..."So Big!", patting her mouth like an Indian, blowing kisses (which she does but sticking one finger in her mouth and sucking as well as waving "Bye, Bye!"

New swingset

We recently decided it was time to get a little swingset for Aubrey. After watching Craigslist and Ebay for a while, I finally found one up for auction on Ebay that was in Plainfield. I sent the seller an email asking if she'd take a lower price than the starting bid if it did not sell and she agreed. All worked out in our favor and we got a bargain. Jeff drove to pick it up and Aubrey started playing on as soon as he got home with it. She loves to swing and slide!

Fastners' visit
This past weekend, the Fastners came to visit. We had such a great time. Aubrey and Tanner were able to spend some time playing together while the Mommies got to play, too. :)

On Saturday, we went to a BBQ/pool party at the Mariniers' house. It was so much fun. The little ones were able to play in the kiddie pool while the adults were able to relax in the big pool. All three of the kids even went down for naps around the same time! Aubrey loves to play with Tanner and Anna. We wish we could see them more often. They are all growing up so quickly and their little personalities are cute to watch. We look forward to their next visit! (originally posted on Babysites)

Crazy girl
I've uploaded some more photos of our beautiful little girl. As she gets older, we swear she just gets crazier! With the warm weather, we've pulled out some of her new toys but for some reason, she usually prefers the lava rocks. :) She is still a big helper as she loves to help with watering the flowers. What a sweetheart! (originally posted on Babysites)

Atlanta, here we come!
We just returned from vacation in Atlanta. Aubrey and I went with Jeff to watch him play USAV Nationals. The trip included many firsts for Aubrey... first plane ride, first overnight in a hotel, first volleyball Nationals (hopefully more to come)... We are proud to say she did incredibly well.
The trip started out at O'Hare with our flight being delayed over an hour. After many trips back and forth on the moving walkway, we managed to keep Aubrey awake until we got on the plane. Luckily, she fell asleep right before takeoff and woke up as we were unloading. Phew!

The next few days were spent in the Atlanta World Congress Center where Nationals were held. Aubrey made many friends there and even had a couple of people offer to babysit her. She was such a good girl the whole time. She gave me a run for Summit's #1 fan. (We may have to settle on a tie. :) Summit played well and won AA Nationals. We are so proud of Jeff and his team. They had a tough battle but played extremely well.

While we were there we also were able to go to Centennial Olympic Park. This park was built for the 1996 Summer Olympic games. It is absolutely beautiful and was a great place for Aubrey to run around.

It was nice to get away for a few days but is even nicer to be back home in our daily routine. We look forward to our summer days ahead and more outings with our little peanut! (originally posted on Babysites)

We returned back home on Sunday. The return flight wasn't as easy as the flight there but she did sleep half of the way. The other half was spent tearing up the SkyMall shopping magazine. Who really buys things from there anyway?
