The trip started out at O'Hare with our flight being delayed over an hour. After many trips back and forth on the moving walkway, we managed to keep Aubrey awake until we got on the plane. Luckily, she fell asleep right before takeoff and woke up as we were unloading. Phew!

The next few days were spent in the Atlanta World Congress Center where Nationals were held. Aubrey made many friends there and even had a couple of people offer to babysit her. She was such a good girl the whole time. She gave me a run for Summit's #1 fan. (We may have to settle on a tie. :) Summit played well and won AA Nationals. We are so proud of Jeff and his team. They had a tough battle but played extremely well.

While we were there we also were able to go to Centennial Olympic Park. This park was built for the 1996 Summer Olympic games. It is absolutely beautiful and was a great place for Aubrey to run around.

We returned back home on Sunday. The return flight wasn't as easy as the flight there but she did sleep half of the way. The other half was spent tearing up the SkyMall shopping magazine. Who really buys things from there anyway?
It was nice to get away for a few days but is even nicer to be back home in our daily routine. We look forward to our summer days ahead and more outings with our little peanut! (originally posted on Babysites)
