Saturday morning, we headed to the Country Corner Pumpkin patch. This is the second year in a row we've gone there and we really enjoy it. We went to the petting zoo before heading out to find the perfect pumpkins. Aubrey had a lot of fun looking at all of the pumpkins while Tyler watched intently from his stroller. After selecting our pumpkins, we then rode the infamous cow train. Aubrey doesn't remember it from last year. But, I don't think she'll forget it now. She had so much fun. Jeff and I took a beating though as our legs kept banging against the cars. Oh well...the price to pay for our kids' entertainment.

Saturday night, Mom made a delicious dinner. Aaron and his family came over. Lainey and Aubrey had a ball playing together. I can only imagine how close they'll become as they continue to grow up.
Denise and her family stopped by as well. Denise was on her way to a Halloween party. Doesn't Evan make a cute cheerleader?

Sunday was the big day! Tyler was baptised at St. Paul Lutheran Church. This is the same church that I attended as a child and was baptised at myself. (We also had Aubrey baptised there). Tyler was very well-behaved. However, he wanted nothing to do with getting his head wet. As soon as it was finished, Pastor paraded him down the aisle to meet the congregation and he was all smiles. As soon as the service finished, we wanted to take some family photos. Apparently Tyler was pooped though and decided it was time to take a cat nap. He was sleeping so soundly, we couldn't wake him at all. He only napped about 10 minutes and was ready for pictures again. What a ham!

After the service, we headed out to Mom and Dad's for a little luncheon. The food was delicious and Tyler received many great gifts. We had plenty of picture frames to display the blessed event now. :) A special thanks to my parents for preparing all of the food and hosting the luncheon. Also, thanks to Denise/Jake and Jinger/Gus who have the honor of being Tyler's godparents. Lastly, thanks to everyone for being a party of Tyler's special day!
